Zero-Waste Design

Two original garments, cut into a hooded vest and shorts

Back view of a model pulling up the hood of a black vest with fur trim, its back covered by a tall floral embroidery panel, at night by a chain-link fence.

About the project

Each piece starts from an original garment. Pattern planning focuses on highlighting original details, and the work uses every scrap.

Panels are informed by available material, the hood pattern is made with excess fabric, and scraps become details and trims.
